We are pleased to announce the release of HOT-Release 2.4. In addition to being Matlab tested, Version 2 is fully octave compatible and has been alpha tested on both systems.
The HOT thermal database is a collection of data including a wide variety of species and Matlab/Octave-compatible functions that access them. The package includes functions for calculating enthalpies, entropies, and molecular weights of mixtures, and includes tools to add your own data.
